Acupuncture treatment involves insertion of very fine, sterilised, single use needles into specific points on the body. The points chosen by the practitioner are based on an individual diagnosis based on you as an individual after a thorough initial consultation to understand the root of the complaint. As one of the longest established forms of healthcare in the world, Chinese medicine Acupuncturists are trained to use diagnostic techniques that were developed and refined over thousands of years.
The Acupuncturists at the BHWC are registered with the British Acupuncture Council which is the leading regulatory body for the practice of traditional Acupuncture in the United Kingdom and attended a minimum of 3 years of full-time University accredited study to obtain their license to practice.
