New eConsult online triage appointment system

As from Tuesday 7th April 2020 Brighton Health and Wellbeing Centre will be going live with the eConsult online triage system.

The practice appointments system has changed to clinician-led triage only as a result of the coronavirus (COVID19) outbreak forcing us to change our practice in order to protect vulnerable patients and to protect our staff.

This means you are no longer be able to book any face-to-face appointments online.

If you need to book a face-to-face appointment for a blood test, or for the health care assistants (HCAs) or Practice Nurses, please call reception on 01273 772020.

Telephone appointments are bookable online with our Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists on weekdays Monday-Friday from 6am or by telephoning reception from 8am. Your appointment will be triaged and, if appropriate, a face-to-face appointment will be offered to you by your clinician. eConsult is a new service as an alternative way to contact the practice for non-urgent clinical advice, administration queries, referral issues, or prescription related matters but also has options for self-management guidance and signposting. Your eConsult message will be triaged to the appropriate team member and you will receive a response by the end of the next working day. Clinicians may be able to help you through email, online messaging, text message, telephone call, video consultation or may need to arrange a face-to-face appointment.
